摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a drop in charge discharge cycle characteristics or in service life by preventing bulging of a battery or generation of deformation or breakage of a negative active material layer attendant on repeating of charge discharge cycles in high performance and high output lithium secondary battery containing an alloy type negative active material. <P>SOLUTION: In a lithium secondary battery including an electrode group 1 formed by winding like a flat plate a positive electrode 5 and a negative electrode 6 containing an alloy type negative active material through a separator, a positive electrode lead 7, and a negative electrode lead 8, the positive electrode lead 7 and the negative electrode lead 8 are connected to a positive current collector and a negative current collector so as to face the electrode group 1 at the end parts on the opposite side to the axis side end part of the electrode group 1 of the positive electrode 5 and the negative electrode 6, and thereby, projection of the positive electrode lead 7 and the negative electrode lead 8 outside more than the surfaces in the thickness direction of the wound type electrode group 1 is prevented, and in this constitution, initial charge discharge is conducted under pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
