PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer exothermic body by providing a polymer resistor exhibiting a low resistance which can be molded into a thin thickness so as to improve flexibility and user-friendliness and reliability of a plane-shaped exothermic body when mounted on an apparatus and to reduce a cost thereof. SOLUTION: In the polymer exothermic body 1 composed of a polymer resistor 2 having PTC characteristics and a pair of electrodes 3, 3' which are made of a plurality of metal fine wires 4, 4' and moreover are coated with an electric conductive coating layer 5, 5', the pair of the electrode 3, 3' are positioned on both surfaces of two sides of the polymer resistor 2.
