PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for an elevator for easily performing maintenance of a drain pan and an evaporation machine. SOLUTION: The air conditioner 1 for the elevator for cooling the inside of a car 3 includes a box body 17 for storing an internal equipment 19; the drain pan 31 provided on a bottom plate 17B side of the box body 17 and accumulating drain water generated in the box body 17; and the evaporation machine 33 for evaporating the drain water.
