<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shot blasting device providing improved work efficiency by shortening a time for measuring a process state of a steel friction joint surface. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The shot blasting device includes: a projection device 2 located in a cabinet and accelerating a projecting material A to project to a steel material W; a conveyor device located inside the cabinet and outside the cabinet, and carrying the steel material from the cabinet to the outside, and from the outside to the inside, and to the outside again; a measurement device 7 located outside a carry-out section of the cabinet and measuring the process state of the steel friction joint surface; a detection sensor detecting that the steel material carried out of the carry-out section is delivered to a start position for measurement of the process state of the friction joint surface after process; and an evaluation means 9 electrically connected with the measurement device and the detection sensor, determining the process state of the friction joint surface measured by the measurement device, and sending the determination result to a control board of the shot blasting processing device.
