<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate printing data having a high possibility and suitable to a conveying position of an objective printing medium. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An inkjet printer acquires a detecting signal indicating the conveying position related to the width direction of a paper conveyed before one of an objective paper to be an object on which an image is to be recorded (S3). Then, using the detecting signal, based on the image data for the objective paper, the printing data for the objective paper are formed (S7).
