<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for connecting a flexible wiring board to a liquid crystal display element, which can supply an appropriate amount of reinforcing material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The structure of connecting the flexible wiring board to a liquid crystal display element includes a liquid crystal display element 1 and a flexible wiring board 2 equipped with a conduction path 8, wherein an electrode terminal section of the liquid crystal display element 1 and an electrode terminal section 10 of the flexible wiring board 2 are electrically connected and a reinforcing material 12 is provided between the liquid crystal display element 1 and the flexible wiring board 2.
