<p>Provided are a biosensor and a manufacturing method thereof that can reduce the amount of a liquid specimen required for measurement (the required amount of the liquid specimen) to a microscopic amount, and that enable more precise measurement. For a biosensor that uses chromatography and develops a liquid specimen in a development layer to measure a test substance within said liquid specimen, the required amount of the liquid specimen is reduced by reducing the thickness of the development layer (to 20 to 135 µm). Thus, by controlling the development layer thickness to make it thinner, the required amount of an individual liquid specimen can be reduced according to the measurement of the test substance in the liquid specimen while maintaining good analytic precision.</p> |
