<p>The method involves guiding suspension (S) into a device e.g. centrifugal pump, provided with a driven rotor (1) e.g. pump impeller. The suspension is partially drained utilizing a separation element (3) including a perforated part. A filtrate (F) is passed through the perforated part of the separation element, and is guided from the device via a filtrate outlet (6). The drained suspension separated from the filtrate is conveyed into a thick material outlet (5) from the device, where pressure existing at the outlet is higher than pressure at an inlet (4). An independent claim is also included for a device for executing a suspension conveying and draining method in a paper processing system.</p> |
