<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe, stable, inexpensive pancreatic lipase inhibitor which is highly effective in improving, preventing and treating lifestyle-related diseases such as obesity, hyperlipidemia and diabetes induced by high-fat meals in daily life and can be suitably compounded with a food and drink composition and a pharmaceutical composition. <P>SOLUTION: The pancreatic lipase inhibitor contains a solvent extract of cacao pod hull, provided that an extract solvent is preferably water, a water-soluble organic solvent or a mixed solvent thereof.
