CONTENT PROVIDING APPARATUS, AND DISPLAY METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a content providing apparatus and a display apparatus to arouse a viewer's interest.

SOLUTION: In the content providing apparatus, title names of stored contents are classified into prescribed groups. When the viewer selects the content from a content selecting screen 60, title items 65 of the contents which are quite different every date are viewed by the viewer by changing the title items 65 by group unit every date and displaying them on a monitor although any new content has not been provided to the content providing apparatus from a distribution server before update time arrives. The content is selected by giving freshness without making the viewer tired.
