<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture capable of securing a light-receiving performance of an infrared remote controlled signal by a light-receiving element even if a plurality of electronic components composing a discharge lamp lighting circuit and the light-receiving element are mounted on a same base board. <P>SOLUTION: In a fixture body 2 holding a discharge lamp 1 which is switched on when high-frequency power is supplied, a base board 7, on which a plurality of electronic components 6, 6... composing a light-receiving element 5 for receiving an infrared remote controlled signal and a discharge lamp lighting circuit for conducting lighting control of a discharge lamp 1 are mounted, is arranged on a fixture body 2 so that a backside 71 of a mounting face of the light-receiving element may face the fixture body 2.
