<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological state estimating device highly accurately estimating a biological state even in a situation that it is difficult to highly accurately estimate the biological state while driving or the like, for instance. <P>SOLUTION: In a step 200, whether an electrocardiographic sensor 1 and the hand of a driver are in contact with each other is decided. In a step 210, whether or not a heartbeat interval calculated from an electrocardiographic waveform is within a prescribed range is decided. When decided that the contact state with the electrocardiographic sensor 1 is not appropriate in the step 200 or when decided that the data of the heartbeat interval are abnormal in the step 210, whether or not a pulse wave sensor 3 and the hand of the driver are in contact with each other is decided in a step 230. In a step 240, whether or not a pulse wave interval calculated from a pulse wave waveform is within a prescribed range is decided. In a step 250, since a pulse interval is normal, the heartbeat interval is interpolated using the pulse rate interval, and the heartbeat interval is output to a storage device 17 and a display device 19. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
