<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine can reduce emission of NOx, by introducing EGR just after starting an engine regardless of an operation state, by realizing rich operation for reducing the NOx included in exhaust gas from the engine, by introducing the EGR by reducing the attachment and deposition of a deposit in an EGR passage. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust emission control device is provided with a fuel reformer 50 separately from an exhaust passage 4 of the internal combustion engine 1. and is provided with a first introducing passage 57 for introducing reducing gas manufactured by the fuel reformer 50 into the exhaust passage 4 from the upstream side of an NOx control catalyst 32 among the exhaust passage 4, and a second introducing passage 58 for introducing a part of the exhaust gas into a recirculating passage 6 recirculating in an intake passage 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
