<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of preventing the cracks of catalytic layer in a membrane electrode assembly, and exfoliation by warpage and omission, and stably obtaining an excellent generating characteristic for a long period of time, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell includes a membrane electrode assembly 2 comprising an anode 13, a cathode 16, and an electrolytic film 17 interposed in between the anode and the cathode; and a fuel-supplying mechanism 3 for supplying fuel to the anode of the membrane electrode assembly.
