<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball lift for a lottery machine which can promote the excitement of a lottery by adding an element permitting players to participate in the frequency of occurrence of the lottery. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The ball lift for a lottery machine used in a medal game machine has a screw conveyor device (171) comprising a screw (171c) having at least one spiral blade (171b) around a main shaft (171a) and freely rotatably supported and a ball guide (171e) provided nearly in parallel with the main shaft in the proximity to the cylindrical face of the edge of the blade (171b) of the screw (171c), a rotary blade device (172) having a rotary blade (172c) fronting on the medal passage (15) of the medal game machine and rotatably supported and rotated and driven by the weight of a passing medal, and a power transmitter (173) transmitting the rotation of the main shaft (172a) of the rotary blade device (172) to the main shaft (171a) of the screw conveyor device (171).
