<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation structure for correcting settlement allowing an uplift member for lifting up a building to be easily installed on even an inner side region of a mat foundation to lift up the mat foundation in a stable condition. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This foundation structure for correcting settlement provided on the mat foundation 11 of the house building 10 to correct the settlement occurred in the building 10 is composed of an uplift member installation pit 12 constituted by a through opening hole 11d formed in the inner side region 22 surrounded by an outer peripheral rising part 11a of the mat foundation 11 in advance when constructing the building 10, a lower bearing plate 14 provided on foundation ground 13 in an outer side part of a lower face opening of the through opening hole 11d, and a spacer member 19 pinched between the lower bearing plate 14 and a lower face of the mat foundation 11 to form an insertion space 18 for the uplift member 16 between them.
