PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine with improved waterway system capable of reducing environmental pollution caused by use of a detergent. SOLUTION: In the washing machine, a water-inlet system comprises: a softening-electrolysis waterway including a softening device 6, an electrolyzer 10 and multi pipes to soften water; a modifier-liquid measured waterway including a metering valve 5, a modifier liquid tank 11 and multi pipes to measure a modifier liquid; and an ion-exchange-resin regeneration waterway including a regenerated-brine device 9 and multi pipes to regenerate an ion exchange resin of the softening device.
