<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack which can be made easily and certainly compact in order to make it suitable for mounting, in particular on a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The power generation cell 12 includes an electrolyte membrane and electrode assembly 20 and a first and second separators 22, 24 to pinch the electrolyte membrane and electrode assembly 20. Cut-out portions 50, 54 are provided at one corner part at the upper side in gravity direction in the faces of the first and second separators 22, 24, and connectors 52, 56 are formed in the cut-out portions 50, 54. An external resistance unit 60 is connected to the connectors 52, 56 and the external resistance unit 60 is integrally housed in the cut-out portions 50, 54, 58 and blocked to protrude to the outside of the power generation cell 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
