<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device, for satisfactorily carrying developer in a developer container from under to above. <P>SOLUTION: A process cartridge 40 includes a toner container 48 disposed below a feed roller 44 and having an opening 482 in an upper part thereof, and an agitator 46 provided to be rotatably supported within the toner container 48 and to make slide contact with an inner surface 481 of the toner container 48 by rotation, and carrying toner T upward. The toner container 48 includes an opening downstream wall 483 which extends backward from a lower end 482A of the opening 482 so as to get close to a bottom part 44A of the feed roller 44 and collects the toner T supplied through the opening 482 on an upper surface 483A, and an opening upstream wall 484 which extends forward from an upper end 482B of the opening 482. The agitator 46 is configured to simultaneously make slide contact with the opening upstream wall 484 and the opening downstream wall 483 to supply the toner T to the upper surface 483A of the opening downstream wall 483. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
