<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition system of an internal combustion engine for applying a boost voltage to an ignition plug without causing a loss to the boost voltage. <P>SOLUTION: Since a casting resin is injected in a state nearly in parallel with a center axis CL, its flowability in the casting resin is improved in a region where a weld is formed, thus effectively discharging voids, or the like distributed in the weld. Even in a weld formed at a plug connection section 210c of a coil case 210, such voids, or the like are suppressed, thus improving the occurrence frequency of cracks at the plug connection section 210c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
