<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce rolling and pitching of a multihull. <P>SOLUTION: The antiroll device of the multihull is provided with antiroll water jet devices 5a, 5b respectively directed to the rear side at stern parts of side hulls 3a, 3b of a trimaran 1 comprising a main hull 2 of the center part equipped with a water jet propelling device 4 and the side hulls 3a, 3b arranged on both right/left side parts. The antiroll water jet devices 5a, 5b are composed to jet water jets 9 downward by operation of a bucket 8. When rolling is generated in the trimaran 1, the water jet 9 is jetted downward from the antiroll water jet device 5a or 5b of the side hull 3a or 3b on the stem side along with the rolling. When pitching is generated in the trimaran 1, the water jets 9 are jetted downward from the antiroll water jet devices 5a, 5b of the side hulls 3a, 3b at the timing of lowering of the stern side along with the pitching. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
