<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diamond film which can be produced in a simple manner without the need to use a large apparatus, since there is a problem of a conventional thin film of diamond which, due to insoluble, infusible and hardly machinable properties of the diamond, is produced by plasma CVD requiring the use of a disadvantageously large apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The film comprises nanodiamond.
