<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic imaging apparatus for imaging dominant regions of vascular channels that constitute the liver to visually confirm the dominant regions. <P>SOLUTION: In the ultrasonic imaging apparatus, an irradiation sectional region 91 is set to an entrance portion branched off from an arterial vessel 75 of a vascular channel 73, and a destruction ultrasonic beam corresponding to a second ultrasonic beam, of high sound pressure for destroying the contrast agent is applied to the contrast agent that passes through the irradiation sectional region 91. Therefore, the contrast agent is absorbed into the dominant regions of the vascular channels 72 and 74, whereas the contrast agent is prevented from being absorbed into the dominant region of the vascular channel 73. Further, only the dominant region of the vascular channel 73 is projected onto an A section 81 as a low brightness region, and the actual dominant region of vascular channel 73 can be visually recognized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
