<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely install a column member in a desired position. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This installation adjusting system 10 comprises a jack system 50 which is installed on the underside of a steel frame column 1 and which includes three or more jacks 20 controllably extended/retracted according to electric signals input thereinto and a control unit 40 electrically connected to the jack system 50. The control unit 40 comprises an extension/retraction amount input section 42 for accepting the input of the target extension/retraction amount of each jack 20, an extension/retraction plan preparation section 43 for determining the extension/retraction plan of each jack 20 according to the target extension/retraction amount of each jack 20 input into the extension/retraction amount input section 42, and a control section 41 for transmitting electric signals to the jack system 50 according to the extension/retraction plan determined by the extension/retraction plan preparation section 43.
