<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging lens and device having improved optical performance while ensuring miniaturization. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The imaging lens includes, in order from an object side, a first lens having a positive refractive power and a convex surface facing the object side, an aperture stop adjusting the amount of light, a second lens having a negative refractive power, a third lens having a positive refractive power and a concave surface facing the object side, and a fourth lens having a negative refractive power. In the imaging lens, conditional expressions (1) and (2) are satisfied. (1): 0.6<¾f2/f¾<1.8 and (2): 0≤f2/R4<1.7, where f denotes a focal length of an entire lens system, f2 denotes a focal length of the second lens, and R4 denotes a curvature radius of an object-side surface of the second lens.
