The present invention relates to a pressure responsive drill, more specifically to a pressure responsive drill fixed to a hand-piece serving as a power supply, wherein the drill descends at the application of a pressure to its tip and is connected to the power supply to drill a hole while rotating, or the drill ascends at the absence of pressure and is separated from the power supply to stop its rotation while taking no further action. When the tip of a drill according to the present invention reaches periosteum, the drill automatically stops rotating and proceeds no further such that periosteal damage is avoided and thus an implant surgery can be done in a safer and more accurate way. |
