A suspension device (S) comprises an actuator (A) having a motion converting mechanism (T) for converting a linear motion to a rotary motion and a motor (M) connected to the rotating member (1) of the motion converting mechanism (T) which performs a rotary motion, and a hydraulic pressure damper (D) connected to the linear motion member (2) of the motion converting mechanism (T) which performs a linear motion. The suspension device further comprises a mount (22) connected to the springing member of a vehicle and suspension springs (38, 39) interposed between the mount (22) and the unspringing member of the vehicle. The suspension device is characterized in that the actuator (A) is elastically supported on the mount (22) through a vibration damping rubber (21).
