PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the certainty of device anomaly notification of a field device that regulates the value of a current flowing through a two-wire transmission line according to a measured value. SOLUTION: When an anomaly is detected (Step S201), it is determined whether or not the anomaly is a type that may disable the output of a burnout H signal (Step S202). If the anomaly is a type that may disable the output of a burnout H signal (for example, an anomaly in a D/A converter or power supply part), a signal output for the anomaly is a burnout L signal (Step S203). As to anomalies that may disable the output of a burnout H signal at high probability, a burnout L signal is necessarily output to enhance the certainty of anomaly notification in a burnout H setting.
