<p>PURPOSE: A method for supporting the international call originating and a mobile terminal having an international call originating support function are provided to enable a user who does not know the country code and an international call originating method to easily originate an international call. CONSTITUTION: It is determined whether an event for the international call originating occurs(103). If so, a country list including country names is displayed(109). If a country name is selected on the country list, a country code corresponding to the selected country name is acquired/displayed(111,113).
