<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus easily confirming and changing automatically determined image distribution destinations. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus detects a face area of a person included in an image, calculates a face feature amount in the detected face area, compares the calculated face feature amount with a face feature amount stored in a storage means, and recognizes the person of the face area on the basis of a result of the comparison. The effect of capturing of the recognized person in the face area is determined, the determined effect of capturing is collated with image distribution information stored in the storage means, and on the basis of a result of the collation, whether it is the person to distribute the image thereof is determined. On the basis of a result of recognizing the person of the face area and a result of the determination about whether it is the person to distribute the image thereof, tag information of the image is edited, and on the basis of the tag information, when reproducing the image, the image is displayed while emphasizing the facial region. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
