<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus accumulating diagnostic data sufficient for analyzing a failure without being restricted by memory capacity on the main body side. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is characterized by being provided with: a storage means for storing information; a diagnostic means for diagnosing an abnormality to create diagnostic information; a writing means for writing the diagnostic information created by the diagnostic means in an RFID on paper; a reading means for reading the diagnostic information written by the writing means; a decision means for deciding whether there is the abnormality from the diagnostic information read by the reading means; and a notification means for advising a result by the decision means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
