<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for ink-jet textile printing, capable of making a direct ink-jet printing on a hydrophobic textile fiber medium such as of polyester fiber, with no pretreatment on the medium. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition for ink-jet textile printing comprises a water-soluble or water-dispersible color agent and a compound having the effects of ink infiltration into and the color agent's fixation onto a textile fiber medium when the textile fiber medium with the ink delivered thereon is irradiated with microwaves. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
