<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that prevents a document placed on a document placement tray from falling. <P>SOLUTION: A multifunctional machine 100 fitted with an automatic document feeder 103 equipped with the document placement tray 111 in a free opening/closing state is provided with: a stopper 501 which supports the document P mounted on the document placement tray 111 to prevent the document from falling; and a reciprocal movement means of reciprocally moving the stopper 501 between a support position superposing an upper surface of the document placement tray 111, and a standby position not superposing the upper surface associatively with opening and closing of the automatic document feeder 103. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
