The present invention relates to a device for converting a vehicle number into an actual image, a method for controlling the same, and a vehicle number reading system using the same. The present invention provides the device for converting the vehicle number into the actual image comprising: an actual image converted part for converting the vehicle number into the actual image with a type corresponding to the vehicle number by using a photographed vehicle number image and the text type of the vehicle number read from the vehicle number image; and an output part for outputting the vehicle number image and the actual image.
