<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of starting the adjustment of a driver's seat without forcing any nonessential operation to perform the engine starting operation at an adequate seating position in a vehicular seat position control device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A seat position control device moves a driver's seat forward from the get-on position (Step 130) attributable to the fact that a driver is seated in the driver's seat (Step 110), but not close to a backrest part (Step 120), stops the driver's seat 2 (Step 150) at the predetermined starting position (Step 140), and after the selective operation for a position memory device, acquires the driving position from the position memory device (Step 460), and moves the driver's seat to the acquired driving position (Step 470).
