<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handcart improved in traveling performance such as turning-round performance while stably traveling even on a rugged road surface, compact in size with a small vehicle width and excelling in portability. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An axle 9 is formed almost at the center of a wheel, and the axle 9 and an arm are connected through a crank connecting rod 8. A first mounting part is formed at one end of the crank connecting rod 8, and a second mounting part 8b is formed at the other end. The first mounting part is rotatably mounted to the axle 9, and the second mounting part 8b is rotatably mounted to the other end of the arm. The radius of gyration of the crank connecting rod 8 is smaller than the radius of the inner periphery of the wheel 10, and the crank connecting rod 8 is arranged in the wheel 10.
