<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trommel with a filtering device, and to solve the problem that when targets to be screened contain many clayey objects, pebbles or the like cannot be sufficiently sorted out with a mesh. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The device is a sieving device which is attached to an arm of an operating machine, and scoops ans sieves out targets. A trommel 1 with the filtering device is characterized in that a plurality of support arms 7 extending to a radial direction from a rotatable base for arm 6 placed in the center of a cylindrical mesh basket 4 are provided inside a mesh basket constituting the sieving device, and also a scraper 8 for filtering and taking out the targets depending on the mesh roughness by slidably contacting with the mesh basket is provided at the chip of the support arm, and a drive 9 for rotating the base part for the arm is provided on the back side of the mesh basket 4.
