PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor and a data processing method for easily calculating energy efficiency in a heat source system having a plurality of heat source equipment. SOLUTION: This data processor is configured to perform processing for displaying a utility flow in a heat source system having a plurality of heat source equipment 2. The data processor includes: an object storage part 22 for storing the equipment object; a property storage part 23 for storing a property including an input parameter and an output parameter; and an input part 12 for selecting an equipment object, and for inputting a display layout of the equipment object on a display screen. An efficiency operational expression for calculating the efficiency of heat source equipment 2 from the input parameter and the output parameter is stored, and the location of the measurement data of the input parameter and the output parameter is defined.
