PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector ensuring necessary and sufficient inter-shield terminal contact pressure to a mating connector regardless of plate thickness reduction of a shield terminal. SOLUTION: A spring strip 32 ensuring the contact pressure to the mating shield terminal 130 when a cylindrical part 35 fits onto the mating shield terminal 130 of a mating connector 100 is formed on the cylindrical part 35 and a spring strip reinforcing arm 42 supporting the spring strip 32 in a direction in which the spring strip 32 is bent, deformed and displaced by fitting of the cylindrical part 35 onto the mating shield terminal 130 is formed on an inner surface of an outer insulating member 40 defining a housing hole 43.
