PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the airtightness of a corner portion in a sliding shutter in which a large number of shutter units each of which is formed of a pair of panels with a same width are movably opened and closed by three opening surfaces. SOLUTION: In the same manner as in the shutter unit 2, a corner stile 5 is suspended and supported by a horizontal roller 51, on a corner connection member 13 formed by connecting guide rails 1 orthogonal to each other. The corner stile is made movable between the guide rails 1. The two surfaces of the guide rails orthogonal to each other are brought into contact with the airtight material 25 of the stile 24 positioned on the corner side of the shutter unit 2 to seal therebetween. The corner stile 5 can be locked to the corner connection member 13 by a lock device 16 to prevent the connection member from being swung, and stably and surely allows the two surfaces thereof orthogonal to each other to be brought into contact with the shutter unit 2.
