PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a draining pump with high safety by preventing a conductive output shaft of an electric motor from coming into contact with water, in a draining pump disposed in an air-conditioning machine. SOLUTION: A drain pump includes a motor 10, a rotary impeller 200 connected to an output shaft 12 of the motor 10, a case body 50 having a pump chamber for accommodating the rotary impeller 200, a lid member 30 for covering an opening portion of the pump chamber 52, and a deflector plate 15 provided between the lid member 30 and the motor 10. A peripheral groove 212 is provided at the end of the motor 10 side of a shaft portion 210, and the deflector plate 15 is press fitted into the groove 212 in closely contact state to be assembled to it.
