A sensor device includes: a voltage detection type sensor unit which converts a physical amount or a chemical amount into a voltage value and outputs a voltage signal expressing the voltage value; and a detection/amplification circuit which detects and amplifies the output of the sensor unit.  The detection/amplification circuit has a voltage-current converter which converts the voltage signal outputted from the sensor into a current signal expressing a current value corresponding to the voltage value expressed by the voltage signal and outputs the current signal.
