PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a high data rate and to assure a target diversity and high performance while keeping receiver complexity low. SOLUTION: The reduction of diversity is overcome by providing an algebraic linear precoder for linearly coupling modulation symbol on a transmitter side. The relations among a precoding size, a parameter of MIMO channel performed transmission beam formation, an achievable diversity order is obtained. The algebraic lattice reduction is used together with the linear precoder structure applied in the transmitter on a receiver. The complexity of the receiver is reduced further while assuring that the target diversity order is observed in output of the receiver. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
