PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for manufacturing a block which can be engaged with a center belt tightly without looseness and excessive compression between them when the center belt is attached to the block. SOLUTION: In the mold for molding the block 2 used in a high load transmission belt 1, the mold is composed of at least two molds of a first mold 30 and a second mold 31 which are formed by dividing the mold in the thickness direction of the block 2. The width c of a part molding an engagement groove in the cavity of the second mold 31 is set to be wider than the width a of a part molding the engagement groove in the cavity of the first mold 30. The difference between the widths is set to be larger than misregistration when both molds 30 and 31 are combined during the molding of the block 2.
