<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost of a floating support structure of a brush holder, while securing the accuracy in assembling the brush holder to a motor housing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A support body part 58 is provided around a motor shaft 22 on a motor yoke 14 side in the motor housing 12 and, an elastic support part 59 is provided to the brush holder 20, opposed to the support body part 58 and the shaft direction of the motor shaft 22. A first tapered surface 62A is formed on the support body part 58, and a second tapered surface 64A to be engaged with the first tapered surface 62A is formed on the elastic support part 59. The first tapered surface 62A is provided coaxially with the motor shaft 22, tilted to the axial direction of the motor shaft 22 and directed to the motor yoke 14 side opposite to the motor housing 12.
