摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage alloy-using fuel heating system exhibiting high energy efficiency by effectively using waste heat of an engine in a heating system using a hydrogen storage alloy as a heat source for heating fuel. SOLUTION: The hydrogen storage alloy-using heating system is provided with a hydrogen storage alloy heater 20 storing the hydrogen storage alloy 32 as the heat source for generating heat and directly transmitting hydrogen storage heat to a fuel injection rail 15, a hydrogen tank 21 for storing hydrogen gas, a heat transmitting and heating means 34 for transmitting the waste heat of the engine to the hydrogen storage alloy heater 20 along one direction and heating the hydrogen storage alloy, and a hydrogen gas pipe 22 connecting the hydrogen storage alloy heater 20 to the hydrogen tank 21. The flow direction of the hydrogen gas mutually moving between the hydrogen storage alloy heater 20 and the hydrogen tank 21 is controlled, and the storage and release state of the hydrogen gas in the hydrogen storage alloy heater 20 is controlled.
