<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic device, capable of suppressing change of output signal due to a temperature change in magnetic field detection between a plurality of functional elements formed of materials having different resistor temperature coefficients to perform accurate detection of an applied magnetic field while reducing the size, thickness and cost thereof. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Heating means 33a and 33b for heating functional elements A and C (magnetic impedance elements) are formed on the functional elements A and C. The heating means 33a and 33b may be composed of, for example, heater lines formed over strip-like magnetic bodies 32A and 32C. Such heating means 33a and 33b may be formed on the lower side (substrate side) of the magnetic bodies 32A and 32C, or formed on the upper side of the magnetic bodies 32A and 32C.
