<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processor for NQR (nuclear quadropole resonance) inspection, capable of performing inspection only by emitting inspection wave to an inspection object once, and an NQR inspection device using the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The signal processor 11 is used to perform signal processing in an NQR inspection for emitting an inspection wave of a predetermined radio frequency to an inspection object from an antenna, receiving an answering wave released from the inspection object in response to the inspection wave by the antenna, signal-processing a receiving signal of the answering wave (answering wave signal), and inspecting whether the inspection object contains a predetermined chemical drug or not based on the signal level of a predetermined nuclear quadropole resonance frequency in a frequency spectrum of the answering signal. The signal processor 11 comprises a wavelet conversion means 12 which wavelet-converts the answering wave signal; and a fast Fourier transform means 13 which Fourier-transforms the wavelet-converted answering wave signal to compute the frequency spectrum of the answering wave signal.
