<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air valve detaching method from a wheel for a tubeless tire of easily detaching a cracked or deteriorated air valve from a valve attaching hole of a wheel; an air valve attaching method for the wheel for the tubeless tire of easily re-attaching an air valve for exchange to the valve attaching hole of the wheel for the tubeless tire; and an inexpensive air valve attaching/detaching tool of the wheel for the tubeless tire used in both methods. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The air valve attaching/detaching tool is used in a method for detaching/attaching an air valve from/to a wheel for tubeless tire. At least a part thereof close to a distal end side is formed of a bar-like body 2, a forked engagement groove 3 is formed in the distal end of the bar-like body 2, a supporting part 4 is provided in the middle of the bar-like body 2 close to the distal end side, and a holding part 5 is provided on a rear end side of the bar-like body 2.
