<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method and a treatment apparatus of drainage composed of a treatment vessel of a single tub. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the treatment method of drainage, water 12 to be treated is stored together with activated sludge 14 inside the treatment vessel 16 to which a filter membrane 20 is inserted and treated water 18 is filtered from the water 12 while aerating the water 12 from the lower part of the membrane surface of the filter membrane 20. The water 12 and the activated sludge 14 are circulated inside the treatment vessel 16 by the aeration, nitrification treatment is executed in the preceding stage of the rising flow 28 and lowering flow 30 of the water 12 , dissolved oxygen in the water 12 is reduced by the nitrification treatment, and an anoxic area 32 is formed in the post stage of the lowering flow 30 of the water 12.
